  • NAI Harcourts is based on the North Shore and covers all of Auckland with commercial property management. They are looking for an assistant commercial property manager to join their team.

    In this role, you will be involved in supporting the management of a portfolio of commercial properties working directly for two fantastic experienced property managers and working alongside facilities and administration staff. This is an entry-level position where you will need to take ownership of your role and have the ability to work on a number of fronts at once all within a high-energy, multi-tasking environment.

    Our ideal candidate may be a graduate with a property degree and also may have previous property management experience or have worked in commercial property industry. You must be adaptable, communicative and have a willingness to learn and support other staff.

    To succeed in this role, you will also need:
    • Property degree and/or commercial property management experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability with software in general
    • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
    • Excellent people skills
    • A high degree of self-management and task completion ability
    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Full New Zealand Residency and Driver's License
    Duties will include (but not limited-to):
    • Support for two property managers for a commercial property portfolio across Auckland
    • Providing service to tenants and tenant communication
    • Contractor work orders, communication and follow-up
    • Ensuring standards of quality by coordinating building inspections and maintenance work and follow-up
    • Follow up for compliance and BWOFs
    • Collecting arrears
    • Creating reports for property managers
    • Preparing for and attending meetings and AGMs
    • Rent review support
    • Insurance coordination
    • Developing and maintaining excellent business relationships with tenants primarily plus landlords, sub-tenants and external stakeholders
