  • Bayleys New Plymouth is part of the wider Bayleys Group and are now looking for a non-selling Sales Manager to lead their Residential business to work closely with the General Manager who will focus on other areas of the business.

    As Residential Sales Manager you will lead a team of sales consultants, providing ongoing training, direction and support allowing individual consultants to achieve outstanding results and take full advantage of all the resources offered by Bayleys Realty Group nationwide.

    The Bayleys New Plymouth office has its own administration team but is also fully supported with a marketing, compliance, training and development, auction and finance team who are all based in the Tauranga office. The company ethos is all about their people and growing individuals to be the best they can be, so we are looking for someone who shares our vision and is looking to work with some of the best in the industry.

    Other management responsibilities include:
    • recruitment of new sales consultants
    • financial reporting
    • quality control ensuring Bayleys standards are adhered to
    • marketing
    • taking on board initiatives to drive the business forward.
    To be effective in this role you will have an exceptional understanding of business drivers, customer service and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and help secure ‘listings’. Whilst it is advantageous to be an experienced Real Estate professional, with a current license so you are ready to hit the ground running, consideration will certainly be given to those from outside of the industry with the right attributes to undertake this challenging role.

    The successful applicant needs to have the ability and temperament to lead and grow a real estate sales team a willingness to expand the business and must be able to ensure the business is done in the “Bayleys Way”.

    The role has a salary plus a bonus structure. The New Plymouth Bayleys office is part of the very successful Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Taranaki franchise and part of Realty Group which has 23 offices so there is plenty of internal support. This role has potential to progress through the management team.
